Our story starts with Barley

Mark and Melissa met teaching in Colorado and fell in love with each other, beer, travel, and our dog, Barley Jean (the inspiration for it all). We got married, had two kids, and kept teaching throughout the pandemic. We started home brewing beer and baking treats to take our mind off of things. We paused on teaching, moved to North Carolina, established our LLC, and hit the markets!

From all of this, Barley Jean’s Bakery was born and we are proud of everything it represents. We are a North Carolina small business and we love making people and their dogs happy! We also love working with local breweries, small businesses, and all of our customers for their unique baked good needs!

Our baked goods are made from scratch with all natural ingredients that you and your pups will love. We are available in many local stores, but also we deliver across the country. We have pre-order and pick-up options as well-ensuring you’ll never be without your baked goods.

Barley Jean’s Bakery is a true representation of our entire family. We are passionate about our products and put love into each one. Once you try them, you will be coming back for more.
